After 14 days I can say that I have almost (ALMOST) no cravings for foods not included on the cleanse. Going out to restaurants continues to be the most challenging feat in my opinion. Last evening we went out to a restaurant which serves primarily bar food to watch the Syracuse basketball game. While I ate a big bowl of veggies prior to going, it did nothing to combat the delicious aroma of french fries at the restaurant. I sipped my water with lime and made it through the dinner hour without cheating, but it was not fun. Only 1 more week left! This does not mean that I will go out and devour fried food 24/7 after the cleanse is over, however it does mean that I'm looking forward to stealing a few fries from my boyfriend's plate every once in awhile :)
- Day 14 Menu - Breakfast Shake: - 2 scoops SP Complete powder - 1 navel orange - 1 cup fresh spinach - 1/2 cup of Granny Smith apple - 1 tablespoon lemon juice - 2 drops organic liquid stevia - blended with water to desired consistency Lunch: - Roasted vegetables (parsnips, carrots, sweet potato) with coconut oil and rosemary Afternoon Snack: - Curried lentil and tomato soup - Curried red lentil hummus with celery and radish Dinner: - Green salad (lettuce, bell pepper, hot pepper, sun-dried tomatoes, artichoke hearts) - Balsamic dijon dressing Evening Shake: - 2 scoops SP Complete powder - 1/4 cup frozen tart cherries - 1/4 cup frozen blueberries - 1 cup fresh spinach - blended with water to desired consistency
